MOUNDS, Ill. (KFVS) – A 2011 Ford Fusion crashed into a home at 328 Oak Street in Mounds, Illinois on August 16.
According to Tim Brown, the Alexander County Sheriff, Alexander County deputies were involved in a high-speed chase that started in East Cape, Ill.
At approximately 2:12 a.m., the Alexander County Sheriff’s office attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation.
The vehicle failed to stop.
A pursuit ensued, and the vehicle occupied by four individuals, lost control and struck the house at 2:29 a.m.
