Car chase ends in car crash in Harlingen
HARLINGEN, Texas (KGBT) — Authorities searched for a suspect that failed crashed after failing to yield to law enforcement Friday night.
Department of Public Safety (DPS) said a trooper attempted to stop a Ford Explorer for a traffic violation. The driver did not stop.
The chase began in Kennedy County near Corpus Christi and ended in Harlingen.
The vehicle crashed on U.S. 77 and Teege Drive by Sam’s Club.
According to officials, the driver fled on foot and was not located.
Authorities are pending the vehicle registration to release more information on the suspect.
