Holmdel stolen car: Cops seek two fleeing suspects following early morning chase of Audi

HOLMDEL – Two suspects were arrested and two more are at large following a chase with police early Tuesday morning, police said.

Police observed four men wearing ski masks inside an Audi in the area of Oakcrest Court and Ridge Hill Way at about 4 a.m., according to a post on the Holmdel Police Department’s Facebook page.

The car ended up being stolen from Montville. When police attempted to stop the vehicle it drove away, leading police on a pursuit through neighborhoods toward Route 35, the post read.

The car chase came to an end when the Audi ran into another vehicle at the intersection of Bethany Road and Route 35 in Hazlet. The driver of the other car was treated for minor injuries, according to the post.

After the crash, the four men ran from the car. Two were arrested after a foot chase and the other two are still at large, according to the post.

The captured suspects were identified as 17-year-olds from Newark. The two at large are described as tall, thin black males. One was wearing a dark jacket, black pants and black and white sneakers. The other was wearing a dark jacket with a light color hood and light pants, the post read.
