Video: Driver arrested in NY after hit-and-run of Fla. trooper

NEW YORK — The driver of a BMW that sent a Florida Highway Patrol trooper flying after plowing into him on Florida’s Turnpike a month ago has been arrested in Queens, N.Y., authorities announced Tuesday.
The white BMW fled the scene on May 25, leaving Trooper Arsenio Caballero with a broken arm and cuts on his head.
The rookie trooper, who had been with FHP for only about a year, continues to recover from his injuries, authorities said Tuesday.
